I’m told that the July 4th barbeque at Tom’s was a great success and a lot of fun. A lot of good food and good beer and wine. Tom donated a ton of stuff for the raffle; pin locks, ball locks, glasses, yeast, hops, hydrometers, air locks and too many other goodies too numerous to list here. Thank you for your generosity and thoughtfulness, Tom.
The Stone, Maui Brewing and Ken collaboration to brew Ken’s Coconut Macadamia Nut Porter netted 112 barrels of his fine tasting brew. 90% of the brew was bottled hopefully some for local enjoyment. Those who attended the collaboration party on the patio at Stone got a chance to taste the wort all agreed it is going to be one fine brew!

Mark would like to have some suggestions for favored breweries so be thinking of which ones you would like to visit and bring to the next meeting.
A lot of good brewing this month; Imperial IPA, small IPA, Irish Red Ale, Smoked Rye Porter and an Apricot Mead.
